"Stand out" won't be the term that I will be using, despite being a HUGE Swedish House Mafia fan. But there are reasons for me liking SHM *more* than other EDM artists.
No other EDM act has made me feel more inspired than "Don't You Worry Child". Its the biggest ever reason I got hooked to SHM. What a piece of marvelous EDM track. OUTSTANDING!!! The lyrics, the vocals & the production!! Pure bliss!!!
SHM didn't churn out songs in bulk. While I always wait for their music, its always good to release "fewer but good" songs than to release "more but not so good" music. SHM haven't released more than 6-7 singles or a proper album.
Axel Hedfors aka Axwell is pure musical genius. As a producer/song-writer/DJ he has/had released incredibly amazing songs outside of SHM. "I Am", "Center of the Universe", "Feel the Vibe" are a few examples. He himself looks like the lifeline of SHM apart from Sebastian Ingrosso. I didn't really like Steve Angelo's work.
The kind of music they created started a new wave of Progressive House. People are really addicted to their tunes and those BIG, INCREDIBLY CATCHY drops & builds. Any doubt? Watch their last live performance of "Don't You Worry Child" after which they disbanded. Reaction of crowd will tell you the whole story.
SHM may or may not be the best EDM groups in world but they sure are one of the very best. Not many groups have produced tunes like they have.
When feelings get extreme you don't know how to manage or cope with them, crying can be one way to express them and get relief.
I was going through the comments of people who at some point of time cried because of good old memories ! Check out what they said at the end of Swedish House Mafia song Don't You Worry Child video here:

The beauty of this song lies in the fact that it is so universal & open to different interpretations based on our life experiences. The song reaches & touches all of us out there in so many ways, whether it may be of religious beliefs or of the human affairs of the heart. It gives us a choice of what we want it to signify, hopefully making us feel good in the bottom of our hearts. - Lennard ( Quora user )

End of the decade... who is still listening to one of the best songs in EDM?
Lost my dad 12 weeks ago, heard this on the radio last week when I was having a really hard time. Hit me like a tsunami of hope and felt like dad was giving me a burst of life. Immense, gorgeous, made me smile through the tears ❤️❤️❤️🙏
Haven’t heard this song for many years. Came back today and I shed tears. Childhood memories..... Gosh I can’t even believe it.See heavens got a plan for you!
It is crazy how people today don’t understand what these music were for us, I remember listening to this when I was 5-7, I was in the back of my dad’s car, with him and my mom, coming back from a family trip at night, I was sleepy, almost sleeping at the back seat, I didn’t understand music yet, I just vibed with it. Now still don’t quite understand, but what I know is, I miss these times so much, I wish I could go back in time, I would do anything for it, those were the good old times... but now we can’t do anything about it. If you are reading this today, remember to appreciate life the most you can, because you’ll see that the good part of it will end sometime.
