Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter ; born September 4, 1981 is an American singer and actress. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Beyoncé performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child.

Madeleine writes on quora:

She basically is a goddess. She ha had a career that has spanned 2 decades and yet has managed to avoid any super scandalous dramas and kept her private live private. I am probably biased but I grew up listening to her as destiny a child and then on her own And honestly I attribute my being a strong young women to a lot of her music. She is an icon of feminine independence and strength while disputing any old anti-feminist argumenta that feminists hate men by proving she can remain strong and independent and stay faithful and in love to one man. Her recent albums (ie ‘Beyonce’) fault her sexuality in a way that I see as being really healthy for young women an girls to observe instead of any other depictions of female sexuality as being objects of men or the ‘'lie back and think of Britain’ sentiment. She clearly enjoys a healthy sex life and she's proud of it, as she should be. Her most recent album, lemonade has been labelled a ‘revenge’ album as a result of jay-z’s reported infidelity but I see it more as a journey and a story of not just her life but the lives of many women as well as a very relevant look at the black lives matter movement. To me lemonade is a journey of suspicion, confirmation, anger, sadness and finally forgiveness. i get that not everyone may be into her muaix but you cant deny that she is formidable force in this worls and she is an incredibly smart and talented woman.

No, you're not the only one listening to this 11 years later

This was our wedding dance, a year later my husband lost his fight to cancer. He was my only love, the kids and I miss him. He took all my walls down and showed me what love was supposed to be like.

When you find that one person that is your happy & safe place & your escape from your reality. 😩😭💖✨

I love how she realises her worth and knows that it’s not her fault that he cheated, she was there, she did everything, still he did it

He lied to make her think she was jealous and crazy to the point where she thought she needed antidepressants. But she knew he was lying. Not jealous and crazy she was right. What a wicked way to treat the one who loves you...

When you give an ugly guy a chance and he starts acting like you're the ugly one

Those Arabic type beats of the early 2000’s... oh the memories

The fact that she danced in that black sand and didn’t get a single grain of it in her eyeballs

Beyonce gave me everything and more. Everything I wanted is exactly what she gave. Face, body, hips, hair, the ocean....She even threw sand in my face.
